Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls is a collaboration between local restaurants, cafés and potters, working together to raise awareness of hunger in our community. 

Jules Carpenter didn't invent the concept, but she has coordinated the fundraising for the New Forest area with the help of Trina and Trevor Hart. 

The idea is simple, local potters are asked if they would like to donate their bowls and restaurants provide the soup. Customers are then able to buy a warm bowl of soup and get to keep their handmade bowl afterwards. 

All proceeds will go to the New Forest Food Bank 

Purchasing  a bowl will help feed a family.
